Mental illnesses are real. Insurance companies need to realize this. Their policies are discriminant against the mentally ill.

I agree, people with mental illnesses should be recognized by healthcare companies. Healthcare is a necessary commodity for all.

I am glad we have the same topic... I think it is such an important issue, and that insurers are overlooking the fact that mental health is even more integral to one's well-being than physical health. I read the other day that depression-induced suicides cost the U.S. $7.5 billion annually in lost earnings. I am also including substance abuse parity in my research. Your blog has some good info... the link really supplements it well.
